Baby's First Christmas

Owen enjoyed his first Christmas! It lasted all weekend and he had fun opening gifts. My grandparents came over in the morning to give him his gift of a police car and firetruck. He received lots of clothes ( which is good because he wears 9-12 m), a rocking horse, a Leapfrog My Pals Scout, a tractor with his birth info and a jumper. We cheated and let him have his jumper from us before Christmas, he loves to bounce!

4 Months old doc visit

Today Owen had his doctor visit and got some more shots. He did pretty good. He only cried a little bit and then slept on and off all day. He weighed in at 18 lbs 8 oz and 27 1/2 inches. He's a growing boy!

4 Months old

Owen has begun to do a lot of new things on Dec 4 he rolled over from his back to his front. But since then no luck of seeing him do it again. He has also discovered his feet and that he has ears. He pulls on his ears and tries to get his feet a lot now. Here are two pictures.

Thanksgiving

Owens first Thanksgiving was pretty good. He did okay for the most part. We had breakfast at Chris's moms, lunch at Chris's dads. Then Chris had to go to work and Owen and I went to my moms house for dinner. I was on call but thank goodness I didnt get called in. Then we went to Chris's family thanksgiving at a local church here are pics of the cousins and our recent babies.

Alma Mater

I don't know if that is correct or not but if you didn't know Chris and I attended the same high school, we did. The mascot is a bulldog and one of Chris's relatives made him this sweatshirt to wear. It says "Little Bulldog Big Fan". Its adorable!

Craft show and wedding

Today my friend Amanda and I took the three kids (she has a girl and boy twins) to a local school craft show. It worked out pretty good we took the single stroller and each wore a baby. It was interesting to try to maneuver through people as they were trying to look at us. All of the babies did well.

Today was my friend Colette and Dave's wedding. Congrats you two!!

Walker

Owen likes to go backwards and sideways but hasn't gotten forward down yet in his walker. He seems to really like it.

3 months old

Owen got a red car walker from chris's family. He sat in it to pose for his 3 month pics.

Happy Halloween!

Owen tried on a few costumes this year. He was a jester and a pumpkin. He didnt enjoy dressing up. Oh well hopefully next year he will have more fun. He did get a cool stuffed fish, pumpkin slippers, and a teething toy as well as four Hershey kisses for his trick or treating outing. Here are some pictures.

Pumpkins

This year I decided to paint our pumpkins instead of carving them. We do have other pumpkins so they might get carved closer to Halloween but I'm not sure yet. So I decided to take some pictures of Owen with his pumpkin and his Halloween onsie. He is going to be a pumpkin for Halloween so I'll post those pictures after Halloween. Isn't he cute?

Layla's party

Today my friend's daughter turned 5. I can't believe how time flies. Layla was a cowgirl and her party was a cowgirl theme. Owen received some western looking pants and shirt so he fit right in. He had fun at the party. It was the first time he was actually awake during a party.

craft show

it was a rainy day but i'm not sure which day it was, wed or thurs, Owen and I sat in the car watching Chris's brother's soccer game but none the less we cheered for him.

today was the westmo craft fair. Owen, mom and I went to look at all the crafts. I bought some jam and two moose statuettes that will be ornaments for our Christmas tree. Mom bought some fudge for me and we split some homemade chocolate peanut butter cups. Owen was a hit but so was his sweater my Aunt Barb made. Its chamo and has a hood with a zipper down the back. He was so cute.

2 month check up

Owen had his check up and shots today. He weighed in at 15 lbs 4 oz and 25 in tall. He's a big boy! He did really well with shots only crying right when he got them and then he calmed right now. Owen then napped for a few hours. What a brave little man!

Wedding and homecoming

Today Owen went to another wedding. My friend Lori married Rob! Congrats! Daddy watched Owen as did my friends spouses so it was ladies night out. I didn't have the camera because it was also Brandon's homecoming game today so chris had it. Here are pics from the game
